People keep proposing to their partners at Daniel Caesar shows

From Insecure to real life, the Toronto artist is becoming a go-to engagement soundtrack.

It's wintertime and love is in the air. According to WeddingWire, nine out of the top ten dates to get engaged happen during the winter months and a considerable amount of couples have decided on a new trend when it comes to setting, and backing track, for their proposals.

By my count, at least three different people have now proposed to their partners during Daniel Caesar shows. The inspiration for this may have come from the season 2 finale of Insecure, where Issa imagines Lawrence proposing to her while Caesar's "Blessed" plays in the background.

The Toronto artist is currently on tour in support of his debut album Freudian, a 25-date tour. So, for the final two Toronto dates of Caesar's tour, if three couples that we know of have gotten proposed so far, there's a 12 percent chance that someone in the audience pops the question (right?). Anyway, see more videos of people proposing to their partners at Daniel Caesar shows below.
