Dave Chappelle has earned his first-ever Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album at the 2018 awards. He's nominated for Deep in the Heart of Texas and The Age of Spin, the two Netflix specials he put out as part of a hugely lucrative deal with the streaming service. The category is sure to be a keenly contested one with Chappelle lining up alongside Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Silverman, Kevin Hart, and Jim Gaffigan for the prize.

JAY-Z earned the most nominations for the 2018 Grammy Awards with eight. Kendrick Lamar earned seven nods, while Bruno Mars has six. SZA is the most nominated woman artist with five. Watch a trailer for Chappelle's specials below.
