On December 31 2017, Dave Chappelle will release two brand new stand-up specials on Netflix. The comedian had previously announced the release of one NYE stand-up special, Equanimity. On Friday, Variety reported that another show called The Bird Revelation will be available on Netflix the same day as Equanimity.
The new specials brings Chappelle's 2017 total to four, after Netflix released The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium and Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits earlier this year. Chappelle also appeared on Netflix's Def Comedy Jam 25th anniversary special.
