LSDXOXO is back with a new mixtape to defrost winter limbs. The New York club producer's latest work is called Body Mods and features a tasty selection of interpolations that hint at future directions. Opener "Death Rattle" floats a sped-up version of reggae star Mr. Vegas's famous "nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nooo"'s from his 1998 hit "Head High" over a loose and lively jungle instrumental. Elsewhere, "False Idols," an inspired Depeche Mode bootleg, drags "Personal Jesus" onto the dance floor.

"Body Mods is a sort of precursor to the album I've been working on for the past year," LSDXOXO said over email. "I wanted to construct a moodscape for those listening, involving some of the influences I've used for my debut effort. I like to think of it as a compilation mixtape between me and my demons."
