The N.Y.C. trio drops its second record.

Sunflower Bean's second album represents something of a coming of age (all three members left their teens while making the record) as well as a discovering of a more political voice. "We want to make music that’s meaningful to people, and to be able to share what we were feeling with people who hear that and understand it means we’ve done something different for ourselves," vocalist Julia Cumming recently told The FADER.

Twentytwo in Blue retains the New York trio's love of melody and cherry-picking influences from the annals of rock 'n' roll history, as heard on the singles "I Was A Fool" and "Crisis Fest." Check out the album below.
