Last week, Swedish pop artist Lykke Li shared a color-saturated trailer for her new album titled so sad so sexy. Now, Li has offered the first two singles from the LP, "deep end" and "hard rain." As the album title suggests, the tracks are, indeed, very sad and very sexy.
“deep end” features production from Jeff Bhasker, Malay, and T-Minus, while “hard rain” was produced by Rostam. Both adorned with lite trap beats, they indicate that so sad so sexy will embrace a more explicitly pop direction than Li's last album, 2014's gorgeously subdued I Never Learn. The album is due out June 8 via RCA. Hear "deep end" and "hard rain" below.
