That picture of Kanye West signing “TRUMP” on merch is two years old

A viral tweet from Shaun King claiming that Kanye West has started signing his memorabilia as "Trump" isn't fully up to date. The tweet contains a screenshot of an Instagram story by director Tyler Ross a.k.a. White Trash Taylor, who's collaborated with West before, featuring Saint Pablo merch with the word "Trump" scribbled on it in place of an autograph. But the Instagram story, isn't new at all — Ross confirmed to The FADER via email that the photo is actually from 2016, the year that Donald Trump was elected President of the United of America, and also the year Kanye West told a crowd he would have voted for Trump, had he voted at all.
