Dr. Dre is mixing Anderson .Paak’s upcoming album

Anderson .Paak's new album may be well on its way, and the project looks like it will be mixed by Dr. Dre, Okayplayer points out. News of Paak's upcoming project came today via Head of A&R at Dr. Dre's Aftermath, Tyhiem “Ty” Cannon, who posted a photo on Instagram of Dr. Dre behind a mixing board, captioned, "Mixing @anderson._paak Album!"

Paak has shared a string of loosies over the course of 2018, including "Bubblin" and "Til' It's Over," which included a short clip featuring FKA Twigs via Apple Music.

The California native has mentioned in the past that he has been working with Dr. Dre on the follow up to his debut album Malibu, while also sharing that, "You can definitely expect it this year, sometime."

Paak's album is reportedly titled Oxnard, Ventura and does not yet have a release date.
