Demi Lovato reportedly hospitalized for alleged overdose

The singer recently announced that her six year sobriety had lapsed.

Demi Lovato has been hospitalized after an overdose, TMZ reports. Although it was previously reported that the substance was heroin, a source has confirmed to TMZ that this is false. The singer was reportedly taken to hospital from the Hollywood Hills around noon PST – sources told TMZ Lovato was treated with overdose medication Narcan at her home. A source told People that she is now "stable."

Lovato was six years sober from addictions to cocaine, alcohol, and Oxycontin, and recently announced that her sobriety had lapsed with the song "Sober," released in June.
