Watch a video for Blood Orange’s new single Charcoal Baby

A week after announcing his new album Negro Swan, Blood Orange has dropped a new single, "Charcoal Baby." The album gets its title from a lyric in the song. He also shared a Crack Stevens-directed split screen video for the track. Watch and stream Dev Hynes' latest groove below.

Negro Swan is dropping August 24, via Domino. In a statement regarding the album, Hynes described it as “an exploration into my own and many types of black depression, an honest look at the corners of black existence, and the ongoing anxieties of queer/people of color."
