Beastie Boys announce new live show directed by Spike Jonze

Beastie Boys Story: As Told By Michael Diamond & Adam Horovitz will run for three dates in New York City and Philadelphia.

Adam Horovitz and Michael Diamond are the co-founders of the Beastie Boys, along with Adam Yauch, who passed away from cancer in 2012. On Friday, Horovitz and Diamond announced that they will return to the stage in 2019 for a new production directed by Spike Jonze called Beastie Boys Story: As Told By Michael Diamond & Adam Horovitz.

The show will run for three dates – April 5 in Philadelphia and April 8 and 9 in New York City. Tickets go on sale here on March 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Watch a trailer for the shows below

The Beastie Boys released their final album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two in 2011. In October 2018 the group shared a career-spanning memoir called Beastie Boys Book, and did a brief live tour behind it.
