If Amy Winehouse were produced by Portishead, it might sound a bit like "Nerve," the new single from Anna Wise. The singer-songwriter, who won a Grammy award for performing "These Walls" with Kendrick Lamar, is sharing the first single from her upcoming debut album As If It Were Forever, out October 18 on Alpha Pup Records. The project will feature appearances from Denzel Curry, Little Simz, Pink Siifu, and Jon Bap. "With As If It Were Forever," Wise writes in a press release, "I’ve turned the mirror around on myself. I’m analyzing my identity, my interactions, my healing. I’m seeing where I fall short, where I’m more talk than action. I’m focusing on loving myself instead of trying to be lovable.” Stream "Nerve" below.
