Living Undocumented, a new docuseries co-executive produced by Selena Gomez that will focus on the lives of eight immigrant families in America, is premiering on Netflix next month. Its harrowing first trailer was released this morning, and you can watch that at the top of the page.
“I chose to produce this series, Living Undocumented, because over the past few years, the word immigrant has seemingly become a negative word,” Gomez told Deadline in a statement. “My hope is that the series can shed light on what it’s like to live in this country as an undocumented immigrant firsthand, from the courageous people who have chosen to share their stories.”
The series, which also counts Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman among its executive producers, will debut on Netflix on October 2.
