Just a few weeks after dropping their newest single, "When the Fires Come," Kero Kero Bonito are back with a new surprise EP. It's called Civilisation I, and it's out today via Polyvinyl. Where the London trio's last project (2018's Time 'N' Place) lacquered existential dread onto their already-established bubbly dreampop, Civilisation I zooms out to muse on society and the environment at large. Though the issues at hand loom heavier this time around, Sarah, Gus, and Jamie never relinquish one bit of their zany charm.
