Leaving the house to see shows seems a little bit more futile thanks to NPR's recent streak of Tiny Desk Concert performances. Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Burna Boy, Megan Thee Stallion, and Weyes Blood have all excelled at the intimate format, but it seems truly fit for Mount Eerie and Julie Doiron. Recently the duo performed three songs for the series taken from their excellent album Lost Wisdom pt. 2. The two, who performed a house show during their recent tour, are in their element gently strumming songs of loss and recovery for a room full of rapt, lucky people. The tracks “Belief,” “Enduring the Waves,” and “Love Without Possession” each get a run through, and you can check the entire thing out above. Click here for Mount Eerie's upcoming tour dates.
