Digital FORT: Kero Kero Bonito make “The River” a little scary

A spoken-word adaptation of the band’s 2019 single.

Digital FORT Day 1 is now over, and this video has been removed from The FADER.

British indie-pop trio Kero Kero Bonito's "The River" was already a little trippy, but the impressionistic, spoken-word video that the band sent in for Digital FORT makes for a properly disorienting experience. Shot on a shaky camera, it shows lead singer Sarah Bonito wandering through nature and reading the song's lyrics with an unnerving remove.
