This one's for the youth: the Weeknd has announced a digital concert of sorts on TikTok. Billed as a "first-of-its-kind virtual musical experience," it will feature an animated avatar of Abel Tesfaye performing selections from his newest record, After Hours. Though vague on descriptors, the app promises that "fans will have the chance to interact with The Weeknd throughout as he takes viewers on an epic After Hours journey."

This isn't TikTok's first venture into the world of livestreams — back in April, the app hosted a 48-hour fundraiser for MusiCares. For the "After Hours Experience," they're partnering with the streaming app Wave. It’s all going down Friday, August 7 at 8:30PM ET — so you have just over a week to finally nail the "Blinding Lights" choreo.
