Busta Rhymes connected with dancehall legend Vybz Kartel for their latest single, “The Don & The Boss.” The track finds the pair trading verses over bass-heavy trap production, name-checking Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion along the way. The song is set to appear on Busta's upcoming album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God..
The track is the latest in a string of recent releases from Kartel, who has continued to drop singles, EPs, and full studio albums despite being in prison on murder charges since 2014. Earlier this year, Jamaica's Court of Appeals upheld his conviction, but that clearly hasn't put a damper on his productivity. Most recently, he shared his own remix to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP."
