A stalwart conservator of funk traditions, DāM-FunK is a walking divining rod locating the genre's most immaculate vibes. This Friday he'll share Architecture III, the third and final installment in his long-running series. Today we're proud to premiere "Feel," the last single before the EP's release on DāM-FunK’s label Glydezone Recordings.

"Feel" is a sensory rush without ever feeling overwhelming. There's a gentleness to the instrumental even when the drum programming kicks into high gear — you can thank the synthesizers for that, big blissful chords that sweep across the song like streaks of purple and orange across a sunset. Be warned: if you've been putting off buying a convertible with an even more expensive sound system, this might be the song that puts you over the edge.

“’Feel’ is one of my latest compositions. It’s from the 6 song Architecture III project. The Architecture series (I, II, & III) of releases are more on the minimal, 4 on the floor side of my musical interests. I grew up listening to artists like Larry Heard (aka: Mr. Fingers) & discovering music by electronic musicians such as Haruomi Hosono, while still listening to + creating Funk & related. This final entry in my Architecture series (on my imprint Glydezone Recordings) allows me to share another side of my music palette for the world at large. It’s a pleasure to be able to do so.”
