Father John Misty has confirmed details of his next studio album and shared the first track from the project. Chloë and the Next 20th Century is out April 8 and is preceded by "Funny Girl," which can be streamed below.

Chloë and the Next 20th Century is Father John Misty's follow-up to his 2018 album God’s Favorite Customer. The new effort will be released via Sub Pop worldwide and Bella Union in Europe and is produced by Joshua Tillman (a.k.a. Father John Misty) alongside Jonathan Wilson. The album will be released as standard across digital, vinyl, and other physical formats, with a limited deluxe edition to follow. That version of the album comes in a hardcover book featuring bonus 7" singles, including a Lana Del Rey cover of the album track “Buddy’s Rendezvous”
