Chloë and the Next 20th Century is due on April 8 and is Father John Misty's follow-up to his 2018 album God’s Favorite Customer. The new effort will be released via Sub Pop worldwide and Bella Union in Europe and is produced by the man himself (a.k.a. Joshua Tillman) alongside Jonathan Wilson.

The album will be released as standard across digital, vinyl, and other physical formats, with a limited deluxe edition to follow. That version of the album comes in a hardcover book featuring bonus 7" singles, including a Lana Del Rey cover of the album track “Buddy’s Rendezvous”
