42 Dugg and EST Gee share “Free The Shiners,” announce collab tape Last Ones Left

EST Gee and 42 Dugg are labelmates, both signed to Yo Gotti's label CMG, and share a similar sense of tremendous momentum in their careers. Gee blew out of Louisville with 2020's I Still Don't Feel Nun (last year's Bigger Than Life Or Death peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100) while Detroit's Dugg was becoming a national face of the city's underground sound. This year, Dugg and Gee will team up for a collab tape called Last Ones Left. Its first single, "Free The Shiners", is out now.

The new track gives a taste of the creative chemistry that translated into a full project. Dugg and Gee trade bars about their pedigree over a beat co-produced by JB Sauced Up and VenoTheBuilder. Diesel Film's clip is shot with both rappers and the crew in a private plane, and it's pretty much all fun and games until the very end when it ends with a brief shot of a bunch of bombs going off around the planet, viewed from space. Just giving you this heads up in case you thought watching a video would give you a break from thinking about nuclear war 24/7.
