BTS performed their 2021 hit "Butter" at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony at at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The song is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, the K-pop septet's only nomination this year. Their 2020 track "Dynamite" was nominated for the same award at the 63rd annual Grammys but lost out to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's "Rain On Me."
Before tonight, it was unclear whether BTS would be able to perform after it was announced that Jungkook and J-Hope had recently tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily, they were fully recovered in time to play the ceremony. Tonight's show was spy-themed, with the group donning sparkling blazers and dancing between lasers, and even incorporating Olivia Rodrigo into their set.
