Alex G announces new album <I>God Save The Animals</i> Chris Maggio

Alex G has announced details of his latest solo album alongside an upcoming North American tour. God Save The Animals is due on September 23 via Domino, with today's announcement accompanied by new song "Runner." Scroll down to hear that song below.

God Save The Animals was written and recorded by Alex G alongside his bandmates Sam Acchione, Molly Germer, John Heywood, and Tom Kelly. Jacob Portrait co-produced the album alongside Alex G. In addition to "Runner" it features "Blessing," first released last month. The album is the first solo album since 2019's House of Sugar. Earlier this year Alex G scored indie horror film We're All Going to the World's Fair.
