Indie rock singer-songwriters Snail Mail and Mac DeMarco have joined forces on new song "“A Cuckhold’s Refrain - Peppermint Patty." The track, per Pitchfork, was recorded at home in 2020 and features additional input from JD Beck, Domi, and Deaton Chris Anthony. The pair sing about a tale as old as time; a man forced to sleep in his shed after opening up his relationship to another partner. Check it out below.
Snail Mail’s latest album was 2021 release Valentine, while DeMarco hasn't released a full-length project since 2019’s Here Comes the Cowboy. He is currently on tour in Europe and due to embark on a headline jaunt across North America throughout November. Snail Mail's Lindsey Jordan, meanwhile, was forced to axe a series of shows this summer after undergoing vocal surgery.
