In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Good Music — a project of author Dave Eggers and music exect Jordan Kurland — has announced a new compilation with dozens of artists benefitting abortion non-profits in the United States. Good Music To Ensure Safe Abortion Access To All will be released on Friday, October 7, and will be available for purchase for 24 hours.

The collection contains “previously unreleased recordings including never-before-heard new songs, covers, remixes, live versions, and unreleased demos,” according to a press release. Some of the contributing artists include FADER favorites Soccer Mommy, Mac DeMarco, PUP, Sunflower Bean, Squirrel Flower, Foals, and Wet Leg as well as veterans including David Byrne & Devo, Pearl Jam, Animal Collective, Sleater-Kinney, My Morning Jacket, Cat Power, Death Cab For Cutie, Ty Segall, Tegan & Sara, and more. 100% of the net proceeds from the sales will be donated to Brigid Alliance, Abortion Care Network, and NOISE FOR NOW.

“Independent clinics provide the majority of abortion care in the US, yet these dedicated providers often lack the visibility and resources they need to keep their doors open,” writes Jay Thibodeau, Communications Director at Abortion Care Network, in a press statement. “Donating to keep clinics open in every state makes a huge difference to those who need care, and bold, public support for indie providers is deeply meaningful. It also matters that people who have, provide, and support abortion know that they are not alone: most people in the US support the right to abortion, and we are less alone when we can see and join unified, unapologetic calls to liberate abortion.”
