Yaeji announces debut album With A Hammer
Her first full-length arrives in April.
Korean-American artist Yaeji has managed to maintain her position as one of the coolest contemporary producers and DJs for years despite never having released a full-length album. That changes this April, when the former FADER cover star will share her first-ever LP, With A Hammer. We don’t have a lead single yet, but we do have the album’s very sick cover art. Check it out below.
First emerging from New York City with her acclaimed EPs Yaeji and EP2, Yaeji landed a deal with XL Records to release her mixtape What We Drew in 2020. The following year, she collaborated with Namco and DiAN for “PAC-TIVE,” a song promoting both physical activities during the pandemic and the legacy of Pac-Man, and shared the OHHYUK collaborations "Year to Year" and "29."
