Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have announced details of their second joint album. Welcome 2 ColleGrove will be released on November 17 and features the single "Presha," which is streaming below.
Welcome 2 ColleGrove is the follow-up to the rappers 2016 collaborative project ColleGrove. The name derides from combining 2 Chainz’ hometown (College Park, Georgia) and Wayne’s hometown (Hollygrove, Louisiana).
Last month Lil Wayne dropped Tha Fix Before tha VI. The ten-track project featured the single "Kat Food," plus appearances from Fousheé, Euro, and Grammy-winner Jon Batiste. He also performed at both the MTV VMAs and Kamala Harris's hip-hop 50th birthday celebration in Washington DC.
2 Chainz released his most recent album, Dope Don’t Sell Itself, in 2022. September marked the 10-year anniversary of his 2013 album B.O.A.T.S. II: #METIME.
