Nicki Minaj announces world tour dates

The tour follows the release of Minaj’s latest album Pink Friday 2.

Nicki Minaj has announced the first details of a world tour in support of her newly released album, Pink Friday 2.

The tour will start in North America on March 1 with a show at the Oakland Arena before making its way across the U.S. and Canada until mid-May.

Minaj will perform arena shows in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Boston, Toronto, and Chicago along the way, plus two shows in New York; one at Madison Square Garden and another at the Barclays Center. The first leg of the tour will conclude in Austin, Texas on May 12. The tour also includes appearances at Rolling Loud in California and J. Cole's Dreamville Festival.

Later that month Minaj will head to Europe where she will perform in the U.K., France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Tickets for the Pink Friday 2 tour will be available via presale from December 12-14 with the general sale starting at 9 a.m. local time on Friday, December 15. Pink Friday 2 was released on December 8 and features the single "Red Ruby Da Sleeze."
