Freeload: Talbot Tagora, “Internet Fixture”

We're a little too starry-eyed for our own good sometimes, but when we heard Talbot Tagora's newest song, we pictured them on stage at a summer festival on the rolling hills of upstate New York and rows of people flipping their long hair around. They've been away awhile and returned with a new energy. Once a slower, lazier band, with their new song "Internet Fixture" from a split with Bipolar Bear, they've sped and tightened the sound. Like a psychedelic marching band, the song keeps pushing forward to a constant beat, but instead of being abrasive or jittery, their quick, steady drum beat mixed with underwater, fuzzy vocals and guitar make a chorus of sound that we’d love to, at some future concert, stomp along in unison with.
