Though the Discovery boys are still being tight lipped with our dream song “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” featuring the fine vocal stylings of Miss Angel Deradoorian, they put up two extra joints from their July 7th due debut album. “So Insane” is kinda crazy. Ok, it’s definitely insane. Maybe not so insane. Think it lifts a little vocal from “Brass in Pocket”. Hey, Discovery, holler at us if we’re not hearing things. Our boat shoes just got the hugest boners when they read the title of this post. Discovery aka Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend and
Wes Miles of Ra Ra Riot just got their first song unleashed on the Transparent blog, and without the slightest bit of shame we can say it might have just supplanted The-Dream album on our trance-n-B playlist, played almost exclusively after drinking too much pear cider after work and trying to dance with pile of garbage bags outside that can, NO LIE, look exactly like Penelope Cruz in Volver under the right conditions. Discovery’s debut LP will be out this summer, just in time to get some stank on your seersuckers.
