Freeload: Ghostface Killah f. Ron Browz, “She’s A Killer” MP3
- story THE FADER
The best thing about this unexpected collab from Ghost and Ron (sounds like a bad Cosby cartoon) is how Ghostdeini can only do the whisper shit for two lines max before he’s yelling again. And it’s great because you know he planned it that way, not because it sounded like that on the first take. Young dudes take note: It’s okay to put a little thought into it sometimes.

- story THE FADER
With his boss’ boss status in contention, with his own “King of New York” potential thought to have long been squandered and with no foreseeable album in sight, Llamborghini Lloyd decides to release his strongest single since… “Banks Workout?” It’s been some time since Blue Heffner had anything to offer us in the way of head splitting punchlines but Drama with the llama, quick the nigga Benihana/I’m a jewelry Bentley driver on the beauty queen saliva/ I dont bend, I don’t bother, I’da whoop you like ya father is a step in the right direction. Then again, the Banks/Browz partnership has yet to yield anything we can’t fuck with.

Freeload: Ron Browz f. R Kelly, “Club to a Bedroom (Remix)”
- story THE FADER
This song is about how R Kelly wants to get into it with a girl in the V.I.P., turning the club into a bedroom, multiplying the XXX factor of Usher’s “Love in this Club” sentiment by Kells’ dirty mouth’s standard non-filter. We think maybe the other people in V.I.P. will clear out as this happens, but Kellz doesn’t care because he is, as ever, intox. Ron Browz makes up for not being able to sing on key by autotuning his line “I’m swimmin in these girls like Michael Phelps.” Shout out to the big homie! Also: please, do not try this at home.

We think an opportunity was missed here for some vegetarian vs vegan humor considering all the fur in the house, but whatever, as long as dudes are working.
Freeload: DJ Webstar f. Jim Jones, Juelz Santana & Ron Browz, “Dancing On Me (Remix)”
- story THE FADER
If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Ron Browz it’s that he loves dancing. With girls. And then making songs about it. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned about Jim Jones, it’s that he doesn’t like to be left out. Especially when there are girls and dancing involved. “Dancing On Me” is the latest Browz byproduct devouring clubs and high school basketball game Majorette routines. More chicken noodle soup for the soul.

A Rational Conversation Between Two Adults: Busta Rhymes’ “Arab Money”
- story THE FADER
Every Tuesday, FADER deputy editor Eric Ducker gets on instant messenger and “discusses” a subject that’s been on his mind with another member of our staff or a special guest. After the jump, read his condensed (and emoticon-free) conversation with editorial assistant Felipe Delerme about Busta Rhymes’ “Arab Money,” the new single produced by Ron Browz that you can listen to here. Delerme wrote a Gen F on Browz in the upcoming FADER #58 and has been thinking a lot about Harlem recently.

Freeload: June f. Ron Browz, “Cakey”
- story THE FADER
The term “pound cake” takes on new meaning in June’s hilarious farcical sex comedy featuring Harlem rhythm banga Ron Browz! Actually no, it’s a track articulating how BX boy June would really enjoy “tasting” a bit of some young lady’s dessert, and the bass alone is cray-cray on some Browzian magic-fingers tip. We want more Ron Browz, which is why we featured him in FADER 58. We would also like some cake, the real kind, preferably in chocolate form.

Video: Jim Jones f. Ron Browz & Juelz Santana “Pop Champagne”
- story THE FADER
Tuesday night, Harlem looked alot like the set of this video. People bathing each other in champagne, children (and adults) dancing themselves into collapse, Mike Epps wandering around, hologram Juelz appearing live from what looks like his own body’s mitosis at random points throughout the night… Granted, some of that was indeed champagne-induced but people had a lot to be happy about. Word to Art Kane, ’twas was a great day in Harlem (as well as the rest of the country). We’re not exactly sure how this became Jim Jones featuring Ron Browz as opposed to vice versa, but we can’t be mad at a video that features Tone Wop.
Freeload: Ron Browz, “Jumping Out The Window”
- story THE FADER
Of all the people we’d have predicted to make a run at the illustrious “King of Harlem” title, Ron Browz was never one of them. But then again, he’d probably never have predicted a song he produced would become a news bit on Al Jazeera. It’s a mad, mad world. We’re just glad we have people like Browz to help us see the brighter side of it.

For all those people who are tired of auto-tune, may we recommend you not listen to music for about another year or so because there are many dudes beyond Kanye making a living off robotizing their voices. Brooklyn and Harlem’s primo auto-tuners, Ricky Blaze and
Ron Browz, respectively, merge up for this post-crash ode to buying things up and signing deals.
