Considering that we are suckers for both Teedra Moses and double-time R&B, posting ol’ girl’s new single was a no-brainer. The caffeinated hi-hats of “So Kool” sound like recent efforts from J*Davey and Janelle Monet if they swapped the rock chick vibes for quadruple-coat studio gloss – and this is not necessarily a bad thing (the Pointer Sisters are awesome!). It’s been four years since TM’s last LP, so we can only hope there’s more unexpected jams on the way.
