When we went to Huntsville for our FADER 51 feature on Paper Route, we interviewed like five different rappers from what we thought was a pretty small scene. Since then we have received approximately two million tracks by other guys in the area which tells us that we only scratched the surface. It also tells us that Dungeon Family influenced rap is probably what Huntsville should run with. Up until now, we've thought of G-Side as the Goodie Mob-esque duo that made music for driving around on humid evenings and also sitting in a chair on hot mornings, but "Sider"—from their upcoming Starshipz & Rockets mixtape—is the most upbeat and tense song we've heard from them. Break the mold dudes!
