"Busy! Basically I'm saying"—It's been nearly five years since Busy Signal
wrote the theme song to our summer lives and in the time since, he's amassed a catalog of wall-slapping bashment anthems as well some more subdued tunes for mellower times. "Dem Mad" is somewhere in between, speaking to the troubles of today's youth with the maternal warmth and compassion of a Christmas hug. Which is not to say that it won't drop a bomb pon your one drop set no matter what time of year you play it.
