Rapper Jim Jones has a history of being one of Harlem's finest, so it was no surprise when his team, The Jones Family, championed the Converse Band of Ballers tournament for a second year in a row. But basketball victory is something he knows well— the movie Killa Season opens up with footage of some of them on their real life high school basketball team winning a New York City championship. He's seen musical success with hits like the platinum "We Fly High (Ballin')" and "Pop Champagne", too, and they've given him the opportunity to pursue his love of athleticism.
