Video: Memory Tapes, “Bicycle”

June 15, 2010

Do you think that when dudes make nature videos they are like, WHAT A MODERN SCIENTIFIC MIRACLE TO SEE THIS BEE SO CLOSELY! Or is it more like, Whoa man some 17-year-old is gonna get baked for the first time and after he's done with the iTunes visualizer, all we need is for him to pop in this DVD about snakes at his parent's house and we have a nature fan for life. We're hoping for a little of both, as stoned science seems to be one of the most fascinating thing around (no we're not just saying that because some book full of weed smoking contraptions just came in the mail). Because we are all poor and because the internet moves so fast, bands are put in the interesting position of having to release and repackage all their music as many times as possible. Sometimes this ends with a one-way ticket to over-saturation city, and other times—like in the case of Memory Tapes—we get to watch sweet nature footage while listening to a song we already know we like. A lot of this is standard, except the amazing part where the frog is jumping and it looks like it's flying. Make sure to stick around for that. (via P4K)
