Drake, MGMT, Ozzy Get Spooky in New Orleans this Halloween

June 22, 2010

The line-up for the annual Halloween Voodoo Festival in New Orleans has been announced, and it's essentially a line-up of people we want to cast in a situationist off-off-off-Broadway production. For instance, what will headliners Ozzy Osbourne and Drake talk about backstage? Maybe the Oz-monster will give Drake advice on how to straddle personal relationships with fame, and MGMT and Deadmau5 can start a glowstick business together, and Jonsi and Florence and the Machine will comb each others' hair. Then everyone ends the festival in a "We Are the World"-style singalong, instruments played by Weezer. Or maybe we'll just collaborate on the script with David Simon and piss off all the Wire fans. Either way, it's gonna be major—three full days—so get your tickets now.
