The Golden Filter's remix of Yeasayer's "Madder Red" gets to the heart of what the band is about even though it's a pretty wild departure from the original. Here, they draw out the prog elements embedded in pretty much all of Yeasayer's songs, leaving massive amounts of instrumental space between Anand Wilder's vocals about being alone on the road before turning the whole thing into massive, haunting layers of drum clatter under Wilder's soothing vocals. In addition, the band released the Yeasayer Code Organ which allows you to input any URL into an organ that will somehow play the code of the site. There were a lot of handclaps when we put in theFADER.com. We have no idea either.
