Stream: The Hundred in the Hands, “Pigeons” (Foals Remix)

To be totally honest, this remix of The Hundred in the Hands' "Pigeons" could sit comfortably with the rest of Foals' recent Total Life Forever. Maybe tacked on to the end of the record, or even placed in the middle as an interlude. It works on the same level that much of Foals' recent output does: endlessly cavernous, and above all else, pervasively sad. Even when it gets into the OONCE OONCE zone midway through it still tugs at the heartstrings.
