When we posted Balam Acab's "See Birds" back in February, a commenter was like, This is awesome but where can I buy this? Up until very recently, the answer was nowhere at all. But it's now available as the inaugural Tri Angle release, and "Regret Making Mistakes" is as good an example as any of why this EP is jam city. It sounds sacred and expansive, like it was recorded in a church—a billion miles from our initial impression of "See Birds," which had us picturing dank tiny rooms with stacks of records stacked all over moldy carpets and crushed weed nugs. Balam Acab's See Birds EP is out right now in some parts of the world.
