As part of the Closed Sessions series, Freddie Gibbs hooked up with Chicago rapper YP on a recent trip to the city and recorded a new song. The studio engineer played him beats until he heard one he liked—in this case Million $ Mano's syrupy resample of Soul Mann & The Brother's Shaft remake classic "Bumpy's Lament"—and the two came up with a few fittingly female-friendly verses on the fly.
