Video: Glasser, “Mirrorage”

October 20, 2010

Glasser's pop is tricky. On the surface, it is what it sounds like. Well composed, well sung pop music. But there's more there. Her album, Ring is designed to be played on constant loop and this video for "Mirrorage" features her in a circular room being circled by cameras. Basically, shit gets deep. You can go a couple ways when you make music like this: write it off as just some thing you do, some stuff you sing about. Lyrics are what they are, music sounds like it does just because. Or you can be Glasser and get really deep, as she did in our FADER #69 cover story, which you can read for 0.00 dollars right here.
