Far exceeding even our high style expectations, the Japanese set the bar yet again for denim and patchwork. It just crossed our desks, but back in 2007 the clothing label Kapital released this catalog of rural freshness and deconstructed denim. It looks as good now as it did three years ago. Designer Kazuhiro Hirata reworks overalls into a piece with a tribal wool fabric reminiscent of the Lindsey Thornburg cloaks and about a million things on the runways for 2011.
