Snoretex, “Strange Aeons” + “Gygax” MP3s

November 18, 2010

We write sooo much. It's mostly joke emails and bullshit gchat, but a lot of words come out. Sometimes we turn up the Lethal Bizzle, leave caps lock on and type a million words a minute, and sometimes words won't work and we're counting the hairs on the back of our hands. Then there's Snoretex, the new, dialed-back project from the synthing/sampling half of Walls, Mr. Sam Willis. There's "Strange Aeons," all ambient momentum, little growing loops and simple bass tones, or "Gygax," which nixes the drums altogether, nearly approaching drone territory but with the same sort of upswing. Big changes since the songs started. We try to hang on and coax some words out, maybe it's all garbage but it feels like we're going places.
