Don’t Call It a Comeback: Tom Ford Returns to Womenswear

November 30, 2010

So we've been really really good all year and as promised Tom Ford has finally released the images from his women's line. Since he left the Gucci Group back in 2004, Ford has directed a movie, opened his Madison Ave shop where he tailors mens suiting for his eponymous label. This private showing, which took place in September for only 100 guests, marks Ford's return to womenswear. Never slight when it comes to Glamour with a capital G, Ford hand picked all of his models, if you can call them that—Beyonce, Julianne Moore, Lauren Hutton and Daphne Guinness just to name a few, and tailored looks that fit perfect. Terry Richardson was the lone photographer allowed access. Check out the rest of the images at Harpers UK.
