When we saw that this was only 3:45 we were initially bummed. Our favorite Woodsman tracks thus far have been the expansive ones that last like 18 minutes and feel like getting punched in the face with all of the drugs ever. But guess what!? Vocals. It's not often that we're stoked on instrumental bands adding vocals—kinda the same vibe as when someone tries to rap over a DJ Shadow track that's not meant to be rapped over or something. But Woodsman manage to make it work seamlessly. So much so, in fact, that we're now wondering if there weren't secretly vocals on all of their songs and we somehow managed to overlook that wildly important aspect.
