There’s something really great about the video for “Days” that has nothing to do with occult anything. There are drops of blood and an upside down cross, black hoods, sleep-floating, etc., but it glitters like nightclub strobes and it’s lit like an Apple screensaver. When we spy a forest-blond levitating, it’s a lucky find, more leprechaun than impending violence/accident. As the last shot zooms in on the Creep duo, Lauren Flax is staring, super-cagey, and at the last second Lauren Dillard opens her eyes. They’re both wearing blue glitter face paint and robes and it's dark, and if they wanted to they could have kept things really weird, but Dillard opens her eyes, and she’s a person.
