This morning on the F train a man was reading Us Magazine backwards, pausing at different pictures before tearing them out and throwing them on the ground, which is a solidly weird thing to do. But seeing these piles of pages amass around him was better than our book so we mostly just watched. This revamped Snoretex mix (he's Sam Willis of Kompakt's Walls) fits in that world somehow, those moments of minimal effort where doing whatever's good requires no work, just staring. The whole song feels in a daze, drummed out in a way the original wasn't, fighting to pull away from itself and woozily snapping back.
