Brooklyn Bound: Poliça Interview at Night Of Joy

June 13, 2012

There’s a great American tradition of New York being a welcoming port and FADER teamed up with Converse’s new Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn to further it. Once a month, we’ll be welcoming touring artists to the neighborhood with a visit to a local Brooklyn institution, as well as making time for an intimate performance. Catch that exclusive show, interview and MP3s right here.

From the outside, Night of Joy bar looks like an old, abandoned restaurant, the kind that might have once brought weeknights of joy to busy Brooklyn families looking to sit down to a hot meal together. Today though, it's friends who are drawn closer together by cool drinks, like the house's divine jalapeño margarita. "The Maker," a drink created onsite by Poliça, isn't yet on the menu, but may soon be if the band returns as much as they intend to. Stay tuned to this space for an exclusive download from their Converse Rubber Tracks performance.
